Tutorial: from paper to digital.
Hey ya’ll! I’m not much of a tutorial person, but this was a technique that I learned from Syuzuki, one of my favorite artists back in the day, when I was 13. I memorized the technique and it’s been one of the most useful things I can do on photoshop. This was something that really helped me, and I hope that it will be useful for even some of you.
In this tutorial, I will be going step by step how I take something from my sketchbook and color it on photoshop.
We have an alt-version of Calliope somewhere in Paradox Space, right? A version of who whose victory was absolute, like Caliborn’s was.
Sticking to the idea that “normal sessions/null sessions/void sessions = chess games and dead sessions = pool games,” we can infer a little bit.
You pocket the 8 ball last. You also have to call which hole that 8 ball goes into.
I bet Caliborn’s calling this hole as where he’s going to send that 8-ball to win.
The only way to stop him? Make him scratch.
Someone is going to have to get to Caliborn’s actual planet - which will assuredly have the mechanism for scratching a session, per Doc Scratch explaining that the construction is on a Time player’s planet every session - and scratch his game.
What happens after a scratch? The next player gets to place the cue ball - the facilitator - anywhere he or she wants.
I’m guessing that Calliope’s “task,” of sorts, will be to make the winning play herself. Remember: Doomed!Calliope is from a dead session as well. Our heroes will have to thwart Caliborn’s ability to “pocket the 8-ball,” it seems.
And I’m betting miss “8-ball fetch modus” Vriska Serket’s going to have some help in this.
